Coton House

Coton House was listed in the Top 20 Recommended Care Homes West Midlands 2016 by Carehome.co.uk.

Coton House can boast the coveted five star award for their kitchen awarded 12th May 2015, with a very high standard for food and safety. They also received the Platinum award for Infection Prevention Control. This was issued by the Infection Prevention Team, NHS PCT.

Food is a very important part of the day at Coton House. All food is freshly prepared and nutritional needs are catered for. Dietary requirements are met through the residents likes and preferences. Snacks are available throughout the day and night. A 28 day menu is operated so variety is plentiful, with consultation from the residents.

Specially equipped within all en-suite rooms are adapted facilities in the bathrooms, rooms have voice intercom so that they can communicate with a carer at any time. Coton House has a choice of dining rooms and sitting rooms, also a splendid outdoor terrace where the gardens can be enjoyed and relax with relatives. The gardens have gently piped music that help residents relax and for those green-fingered residents the green-house offers plenty of opportunity to keep their hands in. Hairdressing salon attended by professional hairdresser.

Our residential home has a designated activities co-ordinator who arranges daily activities for all residents, from baking to bingo, exercise to a trip down to the pub for lunch or the art gallery for a spot of culture. A seasonal programme for entertainment and activity is planned including Halloween Parties, Christmas Parties, fireworks on bonfire night, and all relatives are encouraged to attend.
